VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT GUIDE

Valentine's Day is very quickly approaching - are you prepared?! No matter what your relationship status is, I think Valentine's Day is a great holiday to celebrate ~love~. Whether you're shopping for a boyfriend, girlfriend, your bff, or even just yourself (because TREAT YO SELF, ALWAYS), I put together a few gift guides to help with your shopping! Of course material items aren't what showing love is all about but I really enjoy spoiling my loved ones and buying gifts for other people so I thought I'd share some of my favorite things I've found recently.

WHAT I SPEND IN A WEEK... AS A 27 YR OLD LIVING IN CHICAGO, SAVING FOR A WEDDING

I've seen a bunch of Youtuber's post the video trend 'What I Spend In A Week' videos and I thought it would be... interesting .... to try it out myself! Wedding planning has started and I've been feeling so overwhelmed and anxious about all the costs. I started more seriously saving about a year ago and have been trying to save as much as I can ever since (I'll do a separate post on how I'm saving!).
I thought this would be a fun, scary, and potentially frightening project to find out how much I'm typically spending each week and where I think I can cut back on or if there's any habits I can change.

ALL THE COZY STUFF YOU NEED IN ONE POST

We're 9 days down in Dry January, people. So far so good for me*, although I would be lying if I didn't admit there have been times I've caught myself longingly looked at all the beautiful, full, and delicious wine bottles teasing me from my wine cabinet. Dry January has meant less socialization and more staying in 😅 ...which honestly, the introvert in me is not mad about. Keep reading to see all the stuff keeping me cozy this month.

WHERE I'VE BEEN THE LAST 3 MONTHS....

Hey. Remember me?! I can't believe it's been over three months since I've posted last. I could think of a slew of excuses on why I've been inactive on my blog: busy season at work,  holiday craziness, getting sick, having a badly sprained ankle for 5+ weeks (although this is actually an argument against my point since this resulted in lots of downtime on the couch), and honestly just being plain ol' lazy sometimes. OH.. and because I've been busy celebrating because I got engaged (more posts to come)!
