I've done a 'What's In My Carry On' post but I thought I'd hit ya with a very real 'What's In My Purse' post. Like I said in the other post, I love seeing what people have in their bags/luggage, how they organize their stuff, etc. I've seen tons of posts like this on other blogs, pinterest, or Youtubers videos (I told you, I'm weird and I like this stuff) but I feel like everything I've seen is so carefully posed and articulated so you don't ever get a REAL idea of the contents. This will not be that kind of post. I did not clean out anything or organize the contents although I think after this purse I learned I need to very soon, lolz.  Anyways, hope you enjoy! I'll also be sharing my ultimate hangover prevention/cure so keep reading to learn more.

  • Planner - Good. I never leave my house without it and when I do I feel so lost all day long.
  • Gum & mints - Good. Especially after I eat a Greek salad with extra red onions for lunch.
  • Bag of popcorn, packet of oatmeal, and a Complete Cookie - Uhhh... definitely good. You just never know what kind of snack you'll be in the mood for. Sweet, salty, etc. Why I don't just keep this stuff at work - I'm not entirely sure myself.
  • Spare Charger - Good. My phone is always close to dead at the end of the day so this definitely helps when I'm running errands after work.
  • Pen - BAD. I always leave it uncapped and get pen marks on the inside of my purse ๐Ÿ˜ค but honestly good to have if you're a normal person and can remember to cap your pen.
  • Sticky notes - Weird, because I have not used a single sheet of them.
  • Mini Lint roller - Good. Have you met my cat?? ...and how freakin' cute is this mini size?
  • Checkbook - Kinda weird... am I 80 years old?? I don't think I've used a check in 2 years.
  • A little cosmetic pouch filled a variety of Advil, Dayquil, Emergen-C, lip balms, lip stick, makeup, girl products, tide to go sticks galore. - Good! I swear I'm a walking Walgreens and this stuff always comes in handy whether it's for me or a friend.
  • DrinkAde - Good! This is my ultimate hangover prevention or recovery secret. You just never know when you'll be invited out to a spontaneous happy hour, BYOB sushi date, or a wine night with your bff so this stuff has been a life saver for me.
  • Sanitizing wipes - Good. I ran out of my hand sanitizer so these are a good backup for now.
  • Makeup Wipes & Color Maximizer - Not even sure if I should classify this as good or weird but I keep these in my purse for any spur of the moment after work spray tans. My spray tans are usually planned in advance but there's been a few days I'll randomly decide to go to work so I just keep these on me at all times.
  • Folder full of random paperwork I need, work documents, etc. - Good, definitely keeps me more organized.
  • Viviscal - Good! You guys know I love this stuff. It's like biotin on crack. I swear it's made my hair grow so much faster than it normally does. I keep it in my purse because you need to take it twice a day so this way, I'll remember to take it at work.
  • Candy Cane - Weird, because I don't even like candy canes.
  • Sunglasses - Good, even though I can only use them until 4pm when it gets dark out now. Depressing.
  • Lotion - Good. I keep my 'good' lotion at my desk at work but I like this Marc Jacobs because the scent isn't overpowering like a perfume but still smells really good.
  • Chocolate - Not great but you never know when you'll need it.
  • Old receipts - Bad. I do an organizational sweep of my wallet/purse every other month or so to get rid of junk like this but this just wasn't one of the months.
  • Soy Sauce Packets - Definitely weird but hear me out. Sometimes I'll make steamed veggies for lunch and don't have any kind of seasoning so this comes in clutch. Life hack - you're welcome!!!
  • Broken hairclip - Bad. Like... just throw it out.
  • Tangled up headphones - Good. I leave my Apple Airpods (THE BEST) at work so I like having a spare pair of headphones in my purse at all times for backup.
  • Cosmo Magazine - Bad because I'll probably never read it therefore it is just a waste of space.
  • Keys - Good lol because it's good to be able to drive my car and get into my apartment.

I got a few questions about on Instagram when I first posted about DrinkAde so let's chat a little bit more about it! Long gone are the days of being able to pound shots or drink sugary drinks all night long and waking up with no hangover. I'll only have one glass of wine and sometimes wake up the next day with a headache if I don't stay hydrated during the day. Not fun. This is why I was soo excited to try DrinkAde.
DrinkAde comes in two different formulas depending on your specific need. The red bottle (limeade flavor) is for prevention so you would take this before or while you're drinking and the blue bottle (berry flavor) is for prevention or recovery so you could take this before, during, or after drinking.
Each Boost Formula bottle of DrinkAde (blue bottle) has a formula of 189mg of natural caffeine (about 2 cups of coffee) and extra B-12 vitamins so it's perfect after a night out or even if you just want an extra boost of energy and re-hydration the next morning. DrinkAde is full of electrolytes and vitamins but there's NO sugar and NO gluten and each bottle is only 5 calories!!!

And there you have it. A very real look at all the good, the bad, and the plain weird things currently in my purse. What's the weirdest thing in your purse right now?

  13. The handbag snare itself is so little and convenient that you can convey it directly in your tote, to utilize at whatever point you have to keep your satchel off the floor. leather handbags
