STORIARTS - WHERE STYLE MEETS LITERATURE

Hi, friends!! Recently I was introduced to the coolest boutique that I wanted to share with you all. Storiarts is a literary goods company started by a husband and wife creating beautiful hand-made literary theme custom pieces to the most classic books, including authors. I have always loved reading so I was really excited about this collaboration!

The story of Storiarts started back in Winter of 2011. Co-owner Tori Tissell had  recently graduated from Pratt Institute and was faced with the daunting task of Christmas shopping for loved ones. With money tight (as I'm sure most recent grads can relate) she had to get creative with her gifts. Instead of
going out and over spending, Tori turned to DIY and that is how the first Pride & Prejudice scarf was born. People loved her creation and she started getting more and more requests so she opened up her own Esty store! Her sales began booming so she became more serious about the business. Tori's husband, Chris helped her out with the sewing, printing, and social and soon after became the president of Storiarts!

This story gave me all the feels. Turning a passion and hobby into a profitable business and teaming up with your husband - if that's not goals then I don't know what is.

Since 2011 the Storiarts team grew from 1 to about 10 members - and growing! I love supporting small businesses. You can tell each of these products have been made carefully and with love.
What I love about Storiarts is that you can find a gift for anyone! My friend Eli, at Storiarts, so graciously let me pick out two items that I was so excited about. I chose the Alice in Wonderland headband (MY FAV!) and a long sleeve Pride & Prejudice long sleeve tee.

I really love that there's a bunch of different fits of shirts as well. From unisex/mens sizes, to tighter fitting shirts for women, fitting shirts with a scooped neck, and even slouchier relaxed draped fitting tees. You can truly find a gift for anyone on your holiday list!

Besides the tops and headbands, the scarves would make a perfect and beautiful gift!

If you're looking for something a little different than clothing items you should check out the "Home Goods" section on the website. The pillows are so cute!! These would be a perfect accent pillow for your living room or bedroom.

New moms, there's even something for your little babe. Storiarts has the most adorable (and super soft!) baby blankets and baby hats.

These items are mostly sold online but there are a several boutiques you can find Storiarts HERE. For my Chicago friends, you can find some Storiarts goodies at The American Writers Museum on Michigan Ave - so cool!

So, if you're looking for a cool and unique gift for someone you should 100% check out Storiarts! There are already so many amazing classics but the collection just keeps growing. HINT: If you are looking for something specific - ASK FOR IT! Every time someone requests a new title, it is added to a customer wish list. The team works on licensing for new titles so they can make all their fans so happy.
